I am also leaning towards yes as I feel it will lighten up the space and feel cleaner. My partner on the other hand is scared how the paneling and the large storage cabinets in the hallway (there is another set across from the one you can see and two doors in between for two other bedrooms. ) will look all white. He is scared it will look cheap. He is also afraid of the large white area it will make in the livingroom if we paint the paneling. Ugh lol

Did you wallpaper the wainscoting in the first picture? If so, I would carry this through the rest of the room. If that isn't an option, then I would definitely paint the trim white. It will tie the rooms together while also making it look polished an complete.

No that wall is not wainscoting. It is textured wall like the dinning room. None of the wainscoting is painted in the house. It is only located on one wall in the livingroom and the walls in the hallway here is the texture dinning room

Well I think we have decided to paint the wainscoting white along with the trim. It will all be antique white hopefully after the new year. Hope this is the right choice!
