Suitability of Neolith Textil as kitchen backsplash

Our house remodel is trending "Japanese Mountain House" (my name for it!). Whole house has rough quartzite stone floors. We have selected Cleaf Noce Daniella material for kitchen cabinets and a soft white quartz counter. Trying not to have too much going on but for our backsplash are considering Neolith Textile in white (as shown). Since it has a tooth, is it more difficult to keep clean than other materials? Thank you for any input you have!!

Hello,

Textile white does have a textured surface. It is still extremely stain resistant. The main difference between any polished surface vs any textured surface regarding cleaning is the texture gives things something to grip to. It would just take a little more elbow grease to get splashed spaghetti sauce off for example. The material is beautiful, and the texture adds a nice touch of depth and character to the space. Hi kittenmama,

One of the great things about Neolith is that non-porous surface! With the Textil line, you might need to use a more rough rag or scrubber on anything that doesn't wipe away with a dishcloth, just to make sure you're reaching any dips in the texture. But the good thing is that you know the surface itself isn't absorbing any mess, so with the right cleaning tools, your Neolith can stay perfect!
