IMO the lighting of the room should be addressed first before deciding on window treatments. The scale of the painted cabinet is too small and not appropriate for such a masculine leaning room. Get rid of that terrible fan light and maybe even the ceiling fan. If the fan is a must. then select a white ceiling hugger fan that will not stand out against your white ceiling.

Not sure that white or orange is the right selection for your window treatments.

Floor lamps should be much larger in scale to compete with your large scale furniture.

I think the only way to do white would be to do a heavy, substantial fabric to balance out those chairs. I would almost do like a dusty blue in something weighty like a velvelt.
