GE Monogram or Cafe

Having trouble choosing. I had my heart set on the Monogram because of looks and now am not sure after seeing how deep it is 28.25" and justifying the extra cost vs the GE Cafe.

Should I spend the extra on the Monogram or settle for the less expensive GE Cafe? If I had more space in my kitchen I would go larger than 30" and spend more for 36", but space is tight so we are going with 30". The one thing I don't like about the Cafe is the digital face, but think I can look past it. What do you think about the 2 of these? Price difference is 2K.

I've had the Cafe all gas range with the double ovens for 3 years now, only because back then dual fuel did not exist in that particular Cafe item. Maybe that's still the case, I don't know. Don't ever buy a gas oven. Otherwise, it's fabulous and I'd do it all over again but only in dual fuel. :)

That being said, we're building now and will be going with Monogram just because I want a change of style.

I've had the Cafe for 3 years. Happy with it. Works well- heats evenly. I've used the lower drawer oven a few times when we've had big crowds around holidays. The drawer is ok for the one or two times a year I need it.
Agree that the monogram looks nicer.

I considered buying the Cafe but wanted specific features I knew I would use so I bought a GE Profile 30" range on line at Goedeker's. First time I bought such a big item on line but I took a chance and the purchase went great. They even held it for me after purchase for months at no charge, until the kitchen was completed and I could take delivery. I got a center oblong burner that works with a griddle that comes with the stove and is removable. It also has convection cooking, a warming drawer, hi and lo broiler settings, and the knobs don't face out but rather up, which I think is better with kids around. I've had my range since Fall of 2013 and have absolutely no complaints. Its very easy to clean, especially on top around the burners. I've never had a stove before that looks new like mine does, and I do a lot of cooking! I paid about $1500 for it.

Thanks Melissa - we ended up ordering a dual fuel 30" monogram range. Would have loved a 36" but our budget wouldn't allow. Maybe our next house
