Hi Becky! These are Wood Mode cabinets in Oak with a burnished finish and lightly distressed. Kind of hard to see the light distressing though in this photo. This is a really nice finish by Wood Mode and when you see a whole space using it, it is stunning. Maple is also a white wood so can be very light just as they are and with a Cottage finish, there is a "whitewash" (for lack of a better term) on them. Light maple cabinets are very easy to find and all major brands carry them. The finish is what deadens some of the grain of the wood so it is more color than wood. I am unaware of any other lines that carry a burnished finish like WoodMode's oak. Go to www.woodmode.com and you can see this finish and also lots of lighter maple finishes.
