Before and After Boring Ranch Style House into Modern/Contemporary

Ranch style old beige house is now a contemporary/modern black house with wood siding at the front, with large concrete porch and new roof

Before.... used to be a nanny room, with closets and small ugly bathroom....

Out of the reach in closet from the room behind, ended up with a nook and built in shelves. Used Ikea over the fridge cabinets to build the benches. And inexpensive panels with shelves on the wall behind the orange bench. Cushions ordered online, custom size. Great quality. Not expensive. And fast.

The before, this is the covered patio on the last picture with Chicago brick and a disaster. The 2 inside shots of enclosure and my favorite picture at the early evening from outside!

PRO8 years ago- PRO8 years agoContinue slowly to hopefully inspire some one. This was a den with raised floors 2.5’... the vaulted ceiling you can’t even see. Widow was very strange: low and low!
Now this is a seating area of a new master!
And the last picture is the area in front of the bed in the same master, made an “innie” with shelves. That was made a feel of a room at the bed area deeper. This was the entrance to the den... if it makes sense.
