It's not a feasible location without tearing off the roof completely redesigning the whole home's entire roof structure. Or doing it as a much higher second store height with zero intersection with the old roof. Which would have issues with that valley/side wall intersection created by the cross gable. You obviously have snow load to deal with. A better location is to either extend the existing main roof lengthwise, or add another cross gable to the left. You should be working with a local design professional.

You need a design professional to design the addition before you ask for quotes from a builder.
