I'd choose drapes in the same color as the walls, to reduce contrast. Look for velvet or lined linen or something with nice texture. Go full rather than skimpy to vamp up the luxe. I'd do art above the console, rather than a mirror. A gallery wall with a bunch of a smaller mixed pieces might be nice and less formal than one big piece. You could always add in a couple of small mirrors into gallery wall of you do want a bit of reflection. I'd add color in a vibrant rug.

Or drapes the color of the chairs...but then you need some grey in the rug to make the wall color relate to something. Gray and real and peacock would be lovely I think...in the rug..

It doesn't look like you have enough room beside the windows for a good area for drapes to hang which would block your windows? Perhaps some beautiful silk fabric Roman Shades. Art over the console/buffet for sure. This is a gorgeous room. The art needs to be of the quality that speaks to the furnishings and the chandelier. I am tempted to do a purple rug. But I would select artwork first, because that is the hardest. Then pull from that for the rug. Make sure your rug size is sufficient for chairs to push back. Typically that is 24" from the edge of the table. I am going to hunt for some art work for you to consider. I'll be back tomorrow with some ideas. Great room, Great Look, great so far!!

Art is very personal. This room is so special I think a custom commission might be best. That would help you get the exact look you want. As I said I would get the art before anything else. Check with local galleries or art enclaves and find an artist whose work you love and work with that artist to get that perfect piece for this space.

Check on size. I think I would also consider framing this in about a 3" silver metal frame if you have the space. Your buffet looks pretty long and I'm guessing your ceiling is around 9'?

If you pick that art piece, here are a couple of rugs that might work well. Don't know size you might need, but probably 11 x 14? Just judging by the table and chairs, given you can seat 10. And you need a 24" distance from edge of table to the end of rug, for ease in pushing back chairs.

Subtle and a good rug. This could be very nice and kind of goes with the "grass cloth" feel of the room.

This might be interesting, just depends on the strength of the color in the art. Get the art first before doing rug, because color on monitors is never on target. Also, for "testing" rugs, try getting smallest size for test and return for the size you need. But the smaller size is easier to handle and return! The Dash and Albert is the only 1 left, so that would take on a different story. Call and ask about their return policy, "restocking fees", who pays the shipping, etc., etc. Returning a large rug like this would be difficult. Actually, I think the Dash and Albert is perfect for your space and coloring. Very neutral. I think I would grab it, if it is still available. If the size works and you think it works in your room. It is also wool, which is best in a dining room.

9f ceilings, need a 10x14 rug. Dining room is very long. Credenza is 91 x 36h

Sounds perfect. The painting is 59wide so that would leave 15" on each side to ends of buffet. The sconces are a bit too far off so it might not look quite right. But you have to decide. Because without custom piece for an exact size probably about the best you will do.

Height would leave nice spacing and so you could frame it with 3" brushed aluminum frame. That would be stunning. Just don't hang it too high. About 5" above buffet top.

As Flo Mangan says, ART first. Then your rug and window covering color can be drawn from the art. Since your chairs are not as white as your trimwork, I would look for a bit of the chair color in your chosen art. The room is beautiful now. The addition of peacock, aqua or even purple would make it stunning.
The rug should be four feet wider and four feet longer than the table measurements to allow for chair movement. Please post pictures of the final results.

4' from table edge is for about 2' chair push back and 2' to walk behind. Since you have so much space i think you are ok with 11x14 but i would surely confirm that in your space.

Is there any rule between the art and the sconces?

I like the sconce close enough to the art that they illuminate the art somewhat. Your are too far unless you do a wider art piece. Rule of thumb there is width of art roughly 2/3 width of buffet. But in a highend space such as yours i would go as far as about 3" inside the ends of the buffet.

Since you don't have room beside your windows, you could do a very filmy drape that is thin enough fabric that it pushes back into a small maybe 12" space so more window shows. This is one option. But the one I think would look awesome, is sliding white or silver panels that slide from a slide unit just for this purpose, and you can do different lengths of panels for a layered look or just long panels. It is the layered look I would do because it is very contemporary looking like your room. The 3rd option is to do a unique woven, silver material roman Shade. Still hunting the layered look.

I very much like your concept. Two panels one on each side would be perfect with a single solar shade would work really well. Kind of pearly white silk would be a choice I would check out. It would help repeat your chair colors and soften the grays just a bit but still maintain that edge to your design look. It is awesome. You have to order samples and check in your room. Can't trust monitors for colors.
