need to furnish our living room and need layout ideas and furniture suggestions. the only thing we must keep is the rug. you see this room as soon as you walk in the front door, it is immediately to the right of the entryway. this room gets a ton of light.

the room is 24' in length (from the built-ins to the cut-out from which i took the picture), and approx 18' wide. there are 4.5'-5' of wall on either side of this cutout. i want to do matching consoles/small sideboards on each side.

i know i want to use a dark navy as it is a color that works with the other rooms of the house.
