Hello: Can you tell me the general thinking about painting the window trim (4" width) and garage door trim (4" width) in one color (say off-white) but then painting the same trim around the entry door something much darker (say black) to set the door apart? The door will also have a sidelight panel. The house colors would be a medium gray (Ben Moore Amherst Grey), the window/garage door trim would be off-white and the door and sidelight color are yellow. The garage door is a medium wood grain finish. Would this work or be a disaster? Another option would be to not put trim around the front door but that might look weird. Thank you! Tom
