Help! How to Mount Drapery Rod Around Molding

Hi, this is my first post.

I am trying to change the curtains in our master bedroom that are hanging above our glass slider door. We want to remove the current ceiling mounted sliding panels and replace them with our beautiful drapes from a previous home, using a wall mounted traverse rod. The slider has molding above it up to the ceiling (see photo). The new rod will be quite long, ~120 inches, so it will extend past the molding and will have mountings on both the wall and the molding.

The problem is that the molding is about 1/2 inch depth ,out from the wall, and I think the change in wall vs molding planes will interfere with the new traverse rod installation. I am wondering what your suggestions are to overcome this challenge. Here are some photos of the glass slider, molding, and curtain panels we intend to remove.
