IMO you need something on that huge bare wall above the garage door I must say I love the new color with the brick maybe a faux window in that space to match the rest of the windows and some really tall planters on either side of the garage door

My first reaction to the house was same as above the door isn't the problem you need something above it.

I'd paint the garage door just a little darker and also have a faux window installed above it.

The garage door is wide and squat. How about painting it (and the other one) the same color as your trim. Also paint two or three rows of the clapboards above.

Thank you all for the advice! We have decided to keep the doors as is but put something above like a gable vent or truss or something to dress it up!

Just finished repainting the whole house inside and out. When one project is done another one begins! Haha
