They look beautiful! I love mine too. I have a new double I bought last year as a teeny tiny plant that's opening its first bloom. It has three buds I think. Lol

Thanks for sharing these lovely blooms. It will be months before my hellebores bloom and I look forward to seeing them each spring.

I noticed buds on one of my (numerous) Hellebores/Lenten roses a week or so ago and got quite a jolt. It's rare to see buds on anything the end of January here in New England. Thanks for sharing the lovely photos of yours.

Some of mine are out - I have a dark burgundy one which is always first. In retrospect I wish I had selected white flowered plants rather than burgundy since the latter tends to disappear in the winter gloom. i really like that white with a burgundy eye. I keep hoping mine will throw out some paler bloomed seedlings.

So nice to see Hellebore blooms. Mine are flattened from snow and we are due for another six inches or so tomorrow. Mine usually get going after snow melt. I don't think I've ever seen a bloom in feb or mar. They're worth the wait!

Loisthegardener, I don't know where in NC you're located, but I started a nice collection of these from Big Bloomers. Pretty good prices (as hellebore go) for decent size plants.
