Vertical artwork. The room looks like it needs some color.

Yes it does need some color, but I don't know what would like good! Any examples of artwork?

I would add a small, armless side chair with a tall back that you could pull in for extra seating. With the fireplace, tv, etc I think that adding a chest would be overwhelming and add clutter. Pick an upholstery fabric for the chair that plays up your accent colors.

Grids can make a strong visual impression. Instead of color, you can incorporate easy to care for plants, like air plants and succulents. You can do a grid of 6 plants, or place planters on a wall shelf.

No I don't have any artwork, any suggestion? I want to tie blue in but nothing too modern
