The style of your towel hooks, toilet paper holder and other attached pieces should coordinate in style, shape, finish and color with your plumbing hardware. Warm the room up with paint color, floor rug, towel color, candles, soap dish, soap color, and art. Pik a mirror with a wooden frame. It could be distressed or stained. You want to repeat the style you are using in the rest of the house.

I would add some warm wood, bright colours for the walls and some funky towels. I like the floor tiles used, an unusual shape which adds interest to the floor.

The design phase should have planned this to minimum size requirements, but it looks as though it didn't. Who inspected this???? Because your plumber seems to have the rough ins in all the wrong spots.

Mark ,i like the idea of matching shelves and vanity .hope it's not too hard to find them, considering they'll be very small. i thought about putting the led string light (or whatever is called)behind the mirror , that could look nice

What do you guys think about the mirror . It's kind of odd that the tiles go almost to 4.5 feet so i feel with the round mirror i'' not going to be able to see myself. Is it going to look ugly if the mirror goes over the tiles ?

Sophie, rough ins are from the original pedestal sink, i don't think my husband planed on a floating sink so now it's going to be hard to find floating sink that doesn't have a drawers in it .

Pick your vanity first, and then you can figure out a mirror solution -- either one that fits above the tile, or put some wood behind the top part to even it up with the tile, or recess a medicine cabinet and cut the tiles around it... You need a style first though. I like where Mark was headed. If you're not prepared for wall-hung, then maybe find a similar thing with more traditional plumbing -- weathered wood is quite popular right now.

The toilet needs a 30" clear space without any encroachment of shower or vanity. They had a pedestal sink and alcove tub in there for a reason. Who designed this renovation?
