Hi, because your pantry door is so incorporated into the kitchen, it reads closer to the cabinetry than the doors and trim in the rest of the house. If you go with light cabinets, I would colour match the door to the cabinetry. If you do the darker island, you might be able to get away with the darker door, but I think to match the cabinetry next to it is better

I agree with Elaine. It blends with the cabinetry, so I'd do it in the same color as the adjacent cabinet doors.

I do not have an island but I have a door leading outside. Should the pantry door match the cabinets or the door to the outside?

Pantry door should match the trim. Unless it’s a statement piece. ( like an antiqued door or something...)
