Well, it's a win win situation because you can't lose. Not a big investment for a bamboo shade or roman shade for that window because it looks like a standard small size so you would be able to buy a non-custom shade. JCPenney. com has some wonderful standard roman shades in bamboo for under $80.00. You might want to check them out.

A nice simple Roman shade would give the space a more "finished" look. Just make sure what you select is washable. I wouldn't do a fabric Roman Shade over a sink. But a washable bamboo would be ideal.

I personally love bamboo window coverings. Finding a bamboo shade with the same tones as your wood floors would really unify the two.
