I have water from a well and it seems that my faucets are always getting the hard water build up and I'm replacing them all every other year. I've heard that a water softener could help, but I'm not really keen on the idea of getting one. I am wondering if there is a type of finish for faucets that is more resistant to the calcium build-up? Or if anyone else has had this issue and has found luck with a certain type of faucet, or another solution to the problem.
