Mixing rustic / glam

I'm trying to find a coffee table, tv stand, and sofa table .... I seem to LOVE mirrored pieces, but am struggling to see how to mix rustic and glam. My dining room is more rustic, but I cannot figure out how to blend it all together! Suggestions?

Hi, I love all the choices of furnishings and finishes you have made so far. You might consider bringing in a console for under the tv and a coffee table similar to the wood in your dining table

but if you love the mirror look I think they would work well together.

I also like the mirror in this picture, kind of an aged silver leaf or mirror frame. You might consider something like this in your dining room to tie into the mirrors in your living space furniture.

Consider bring in some accent colours into your scheme in cushions and or drapery

You might also consider bring some pattern into your space.

IMO you need to examine the meanings of rustic ( which your DR is not) and glam

I agree, overall looks more like farmhouse to me.

Seems like a nice combination so far, now it will be up to art, rugs and accessories to define the "style" further.

You can definitely mix in glam/shine. You have a really blank slate at this point. ZGallerie comes to mind- check out their room designs, see how styles are mixed. Buy things you love- don't worry too much about staying in one zone. Biggest factors are color & scale. Good luck! :)

I see the rustic for sure... the floors and table. The tables/ media should blend in my opinion. Either a shabby grey, white, or black or a not shabby... save the mirrored for accents such as vases, charges, buckets, small frames.

Here is Houzz search for french tufted dining chairs it has some similar chairs to your dining chairs and might give you some ideas for décor and combining your living and dining space. I absolutely love your dining room furniture:)

You have made a beautiful start. You should have no trouble mixing one or two mirrored pieces in with the lovely selection you now have. They are ubiquitous these days, so you should have no trouble finding them on a Houzz search. They will blend beautifully. If you feel any lack of coordination, place a mirrored tray on your dining table and put an organic element on your mirrored cocktail table - maybe antlers in a bowl.

Your gray walls will benefit greatly from some artwork to bring color, character and soul to the room. I wouldn't skimp on art since these are public rooms, and an investment in original art will elevate your decor. I usually recommend giclees and other prints for bedrooms and less public spaces, and original art for living and dining rooms. Below are some great photographs from a recent design called The Luxe we did. Consider getting some end tables, side tables, and a rug like you see in the photos here. also take a look at the lamp, fan, and chandelier over the table.
