Connie, do you like these designs ? :)

Connie, very stylist, but a little too "sharp" for my taste. I want the bathroom areas to feel nice and soft, with a clean and simple design, but not so cutting sharp. :)

Thanks Ed. I do like the"Mare" Fantini faucet. I find it to be clean and classic.I am not sure how good the brand is. I live in Hawaii and want to feel it will last and not have to replace any time soon

Oh dear, I'm not too keen on leaving negative feedback. However, I have been contacting Fantini's customer service since January of this year due to a broken handle in my guest bathroom. They do not carry the style anymore and are saying it will need to be manufactured. Unfortunately, just getting to this point has taken several emails and there is no repair or replacement in sight.

I have used Fantini taps and shower accessories. Had no problem with them at all. Love them.
I think you might be confusing the product with the customer service behind it. Much as I love Italian design, it is always a bit of a nightmare when things don't go according to plan and you have to deal with bureaucracy.

My advice is be patient but tenacious. So a regular email or phone-call monthly, and then weekly, will remind them you are there... (at least they have researched the product and are looking into remanufacturing)...

    Keep us posted...

Hi Lynda, I'm curious -- how long had you been using that Fantini faucet before the handle broke?
Is your water hard or soft, is it treated in some way -- because I notice the corrosion at the end of the tap (similar to my 30+ year-old faucet's -- mine was much much worse! :). That particular design of the handle/levers, with that very skinny point at the base of the white handle -- where it broke -- does look like a weak point in the design... :-|

ASVinteriors - Yes, I, too, love the design and the tub fixture is gorgeous. I am doing just as you say - weekly emails. They are very nice but there is no action. Natually I'd like to see it fixed soon!
Ed - It started to weaken in the third year and finally broke a few years after that, so maybe 8 years. My water is not treated and is quite hard. I use vinegar by the gallon. I'm sure the hard water is the reason the tub faucet seized. Unfortunately, no one in my area can fix any of it! Regarding the design, in Fantini's defense they no longer make this faucet but I do wish they had extra handles.

Hi, We sell a lot of Fantini products in our showroom and online. They are great quality and have some really interesting and modern looking designs. We highly recommend them!
    Hope this helps!

Styles continue to evolve and I agree, Fantini faucets are stunning. Unfortunately, parts are not available for previous models. I couldn't get a simple porcelain handle replaced. I spent months hounding the reps. One even looked through boxes in Italy but none were found. As a result, I had to install new faucets. Refer to post May 2013. BTW: the broken handle had nothing to do with the calcium buildup. I have very hard water.

Yes it's beautiful but that's it! They have very poor quality and engineering!

I've bought the NOSTROMO E881B+M185A built-in shower mixer. And I don't understand why you made the hand shower output on the left side?! Do you really think that most people in the world are left-handed? I'm absolutely confused about that! The hand shower output should be on the right side like on your NOSTROMO ad picture attached! Sure, I can make the hand shower on any side I want but another problem is that you have the hand and the overhead shower symbols engraved on the metal o-ring backplate (see pictures attached). Plus poorly designed and engineered built-in part (M185A) and the fixing plates, I had to make others myself and many other minor flaws that I will not talk about here.

I have 2 fantini faucets that have been leaking. unfortunately you can‘t see that they are leaking because it occurs behind the wall. Here is a picture of the wall behind my vanity.

My plumbers are not impressed with the design. I paid over $2,000 for each faucet. Not impressed. I will be replacing these

Yes. We have a faucet that wobbles to and fro from its fixed base. I can’t seem to get help/service from the vendor in Houston. LK, Houston, Tx
