Thank you both. Any advice on a sideboard? for the other side of the wall (where I was standing)

I like the white walls ... gives it a "gallery" like vibe. Great space for art, both colorful & black & white graphics. If it were mine I'd try to warm it up just a little, oatmeal colored ( for lack of better description ) sofa along with a modern style saddle brown leather side chair, & colors in pillows & any other seating. Nice blank canvas to work with.

Beautiful! Love the wooden Eames (?) chair in the third pic. The wood walls & lighting in Kirkwood loft are fabulous :)

Any upholstery will work as far as color. I agree to keep the walls white. Black framed artwork will be beautiful. One thing I would adhere to when furniture shopping is go with a wood color leg the same color as your floor or darker. Congratulations on your new space.
