yes, all great points, any tone of dark hue blue would look nice and to add some blues in landscape gives it an extra pop of color!

Side light should be door colour to give cohesion. Trim colour should be same as the trim on the rest of the house.

Only door should be blue, side light & door trim should match the rest of the trim on the house

Obviously neither style is like your home, but which door appeals to you more?

I recently had a new door installed. I'm in an HOA and they paid so my only input was the handle set. Anyway, unknown to us, the new casing around the door was painted the same color as the door. It looks fabulous and makes the door much more impressive looking. I wonder is one of the photoshoppers here could do that for you in a color? My side window is a stand alone window, but I'd love to see your side window painted too as it's a part of the door appearance wise.

What a lovely home. Yes, blue would work. I can also see the side light and door painted a creamy soft yellow or dark grey with frame trim in the same white as around the windows.
