Love the hanging lights, please don't replace them. How about bringing the snake plant out of the corner to the space between the TV console and the pictures. I agree with BeverlyFLADeziner about the pillows. The ones you have now are stiff and a bit large. All in all, I think your space is very interesting.

Boy, just moving one plant already made a huge difference at making it look cohesive.

Moving that plant also makes the lighting look better. Honestly, it balances things in such an effective way. Does it feel different looking at it?

The chair near the fireplace, I wonder if it would look more cohesive on the side if, now that the plant is moved, just tilt it a little away from the fireplace.

I don't mind the different sized plants, and don't mind them at different levels, the same effect is already accomplished in the lighting.

I might start trying by moving it just a little closer to the television. Not sure if it will work, but it seems like a bigger gap on that side is what I am looking at.

You have had great suggestions in the way of more textured pillows paired with the velvet sofa and moving the plant makes a huge difference.

The height of the plant in the stand looks good and you don't have to have a plant flanking the opposite side. Your room is interesting and varied.

The sofa is not centered to the t.v. which is what is throwing it off for me. Can you move the sofa to toward the fireplace to center it on the t.v.?

It's funny how we don't notice things like that that are right in front of us sometimes! A small occasional chair should do the trick. Maybe something with wood arms and legs to bring the warmth of the wood console over that way. Possibly something like this from All Modern. Less than $200 and very good reviews.

I don't think you need a chair in front of the window, unless you want it for more seating. I love the open feel of the window. I would love to own this space!

Why not try for another chair and light? The chair color itself might be better in another color, but the design would work well. Also notice the chandelier. Both pictures are our designs.
