Hi - how do you like the Neolith counters? any issues like chipping, etching, and scratches? considering them for our kitchen and am concerned about durability. thanks

Hello. I am happy w/Neolith. I've had them almost 2 yrs. Pros- looks just like calacutta marble w/o the stain worries & is much lighter. Cons- it does have very light surface scratches (I have the polished finish) & will chip on the edge if hit with a heavy sharp object. ( Mine was hit accidentally; fortunately, my installer came out to fix it & it's virtually undetectable.) It is very important you find a fabricator/installer who has experience w/Neolith, otherwise the edges will not look seamless. I can recommend mine if you are in the Southern California area.
