I actually like a smaller kitchen but would like a larger pantry, to store small appliances, etc. since I like uncluttered countertops.

I would love a large island!

I wish I had separate refrigerator and freezer columns. Even though I love my 48" Sub-Zero, the freezer side isn't wide enough to hold a 13" x 18" half-sheet pan.

I redid my kitchen a few months ago and I neglected to put a recessed light over the coffee bar area...which was sooooo dumb because that's where you want a single light when you make coffee at 5am!!!!!

Counter depth fridge and new stove. Both are still in working order, but the new cabs and fridge surround were planned for counter depth when this bad boy dies :)

Incorporating more lighting in kitchens makes a huge difference!

My current kitchen (2016) is perfect...for me. Spent many, many hours planning the layout and one hour picking cabinets and granite. A well planned, well lit kitchen is a joy....even for people who hate to cook, like me.

I would make my window smaller so I could put in an upper corner cabinet instead of the cabinet butting into the wall.

Well, with a full kitchen gut next yr one thing I will be happy to see gone is the microwave above the cook top. I'm so sick of having steam collect on the outside of the microwave and then drip back down into the pots. Those microwave fans are worthless.

Another vote for pantry and more powerful hood.

Additional "roll out" shelving. Toe kick drawers. Under island dimmable L.E.D. strip lightingat ceiling level. Bookcases for my huge collection of cookbooks! Interior cabinet lighting.

Like nnigrt, I remodeled my kitchen the summer of '15. I love it and would not change a thing!!!!

A bit more storage and counter space, but that would require making the kitchen larger, which is not an option.
