If you are referring to a refrigerator? it all depends on what your needs are, not the trend.

IMO counter depth fridges just make sense , unless you build a wall of cabinets the same depth as your regular fridge . Do not get influenced by people saying the storage is miniscule , it is not and alot easier to find stuff than a deep pit.

OH Patricia,I beg to differ, I just got rid of my counter depth which I did not even need lol, and replaced with a standard deep pit. I am in bliss;) I can finally put anything in the fridge without rearranging or repackaging things to fit.

I love love love my counter depth, but I have a 1 br condo that at most 2 people will live in. Space will never be an issue. If I had a large family, I'd skip the standard fridge/freezer combo and go with independent fridge and freezer placed next to each other. A family of 3-4 I'd go with cabinet depth for each, and a family 5 or larger, then a standard depth (cabinets must be built out to the fronts - I hate when fridge/freezers stick out).

That is what I have is the all fridge/ all freezer with built in kit I love it and BTW I run a small catering biz from my kitchen. I do think it depends on the brand of counter depth fridge you get so it is worth checking out many
