Hi Andi, NICE!!! I don't have Vanish Gold , but I have Vanish in the white tub..I have NEVER used a booster for whitening like Vanish whitens. It is by far the most extreme whitener ever, and I've used a lot. Too bad it's not available in the US. Used Vanish Gold here, just finished first tub, I can not se any differece between gold and the olther one for whites but I can say so much it is a good stainremover.

I bought Bold detergnt pods with me home a I love the scent it has, clean and fresh.

OMG!!! This rivals or exceeds a German laundry aisle. BOLD and DAZ!!!! Love these. Lots of Persil and Ariel too. Bold 2 in 1 powder is excellent, but the liquid/gel can be too sudsy.

I would lose my mind, and so easily drop $200 on that aisle alone!!!

I remember Vanish toilet bowl cleaner lol..the laundry Vanish bubbles also..you can see it in a front loader when the wash action hits the bottom before the lift. Its truely amazing how good this stuff is. I'm reserving mine for emergency since I can't go buy it off the shelf. Anyone that has an Ollies nearby should check if they have any. I give it a 10 +++

Did a 70 wash of whites with a scoop of the vanish... I can't tell if it made anything whiter. Back home my whites were always white.., I wash them at 60 here with Persil bio and they are looking quite dingy. I used the vanish on a load of dingy kitchen towels, I'll try it on my white clothes tomorrow.

Andi, if your hubs linens and such has got the advanced dingy, lol, it may take more than one wash to restore them to their glorious white.

Oh wow...I would go home with a car full of that stuff and no groceries! I see Bold, is that the same Bold we use to get here in America? I haven't seen Bold on the shelves in years and Surf, several varieties of Surf, I want one of everything!

I've washed and re-washed several loads of whites with Ariel powder/Persil powder and some Vanish thrown in for good measure... still no change in my whites! They were still dingy! I decided to get some Ariel gel and see what happens and I've noticed a nice improvement after one wash! Maybe with the water here the gel just works better? I've noticed that all of my sisters-in-law and my mother-in-law only use gels... maybe thats why? Who knows...

Anywho... I also picked up some green Fairy dishwashing liquid... made by PG so Im assuming it's the UKs Dawn? It smells great, clean and soapy. I also picked up some Flash with bleach for the bathroom and some Method Sunny Citrus kitchen spray. It smells really and works great on grease.
