How is the veneer applied and how does it hold up over time? And what is "walnut edge banding"? Thanks.

Veneer holds up very well. It of course depends on the veneer but mostly the humidity in the room. Veneer is best when applied with a hot or cold press. You can also apply with contact cement. "Edge Banding" banding is this strips of the wood. It can be in veneer and solid wood as well. I hope that helps :)

What if it is being done in our house with rollers??

They seem to be pressing it down with kind of roller tool. Should we be worried?

Thanks - we're in Westchester New York - the veneers were walnut purchased from Home Depot and have been applied to kitchen cabinetry (much like in the photo above, we used white laquer cabinetry with it) and several doors and someone said to me the other day that they should have sent everything out to be pressed. So far (it's been a month!) everything has held up. We did notice a few small air bubbles that they'll hopefully be able to address using a hypodermic with glue in it.. Thanks
