My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
The ceiling has been taken down and is now the rafters so much higher than a drop ceiling and no they are not padded...the first 42 inches is corrugated metal and the top half of the walls are cedar beaming to make it look industrial like. I think we are going with the Levant G-Floor since my husband tested all sorts and the garage flooring had the least amount of scratching and damage, etc. And he really took it and keyed it up to test it. Our basement is 700 sq. feet. and it is mostly long and the length of the house.
