EQ is the only one I know that will do that. Sorry.

Lafonda, are you concerned that EQ can't do what you want? It can - there is a custom layout feature and you can create custom block sizes and plop them wherever you want.

I Googled "Quilt design software" and the first dozen or so responses are about EQ, but apparently Quilt Pro is still available. Something called Pattern Jam came up, too.

I'd love to have a copy of EQ, but can't justify the price. It's not something I would use enough to get my money's worth. I looked at Pattern Jam and like the others, it wants your squares and rows to all be the same size. I need something that allows for some "free form"??

I just use PowerPoint. I take pictures of blocks or fabric I want to use, make a quilt layout to scale using the PowerPoint autoshapes and use the pictures to "color" the shapes. Let me know if you want some samples to start with.

Darn, the Quilt Design Wizard isn't flexible enough :-( I am liking the Power Point. And I already have that software :-)

I know EQ is expensive but worth it. Unfortunately it isn't compatible with my mac.
