to go with mirrored or not ~ THAT is the question :-)

Hi, we've just gone through a home reno, massive home reno... home transformation if you will, lol we're now down to the last of the decisions for the inside: to go with mirrored sliding closet doors, or white?? This new closet will have sliding doors due there is one support that we could not move right out so it obstructs the idea of having open'ing doors. This closet faces a new kitchen done in neutral color paler, with kitchen cupboards finished in an antiqued white (soft beige with a pink hue (NOT pink, lol)), and a reddish/honey toned flooring (laminate). The cupboard doors located directly across from this new closet are the doors to our laundry tools..., then pantry, then stainless fridge. My concern is will the mirrored closet doors look too 80's~ish? or should we go with white? thank you

Go with White without question. If you opt for the mirrored doors you will spend every living free second wipin off smears and fingerprints. Good luck.

What benefit do you thin you would gain from going with mirrored? Although we all agree on white, just trying to see if you are trying to resolve another issue?

Me, too. White. The mirrors would be a bugger to keep clean and not sure they would be reflecting something wonderful.

hahahahahahahaha, thank you everyone!! we've decided white is the route :-)
@ASVInteriors ~ no issue to resolve outside of what direction to go. A contractor had advised us to go with mirror, when I spoke up saying "not so sure about that..." and provided my reasons (cleaning and 80's-ish) I was told "no, no" you're area already larger why not use mirror and get image even bigger, and the girls love mirrors...' lol this guy is VERY good at what he does and has helped tons.... but this was one idea, I just could not get out of my red flag mentality. My husband was all for it (he tends to have great ideas too, we make a great team together), but this one I just had to stand up/speak up... thankfully I've done a lot of decorating and so he trusts me when I stand my ground, so he left it with me ~ I just could not let this one go, lol.. so thank you everyone... my gut said White, and I'm glad you all agree.
