Globe Chandelier Sizing

I'm looking to purchase a "globe" or "orb" type chandelier and was wondering if there are any sizing rules for this type of chandelier. I'd like to center it over my dining table which measures 41" across with a standard 8 foot ceiling height. My current chandelier measures 22" across so I was thinking of doing a globe with a similar diameter but was wondering if I should go smaller. My current chandelier is more "dainty" where the globe is a bit heftier and I don't want it too look too large. I haven't decided what I want specifically, but something like this:
