help bubbles in epoxy resin - how to fix

My daughter wanted the top board on her headboard covered in epoxy resin with small rocks in it. Ok did that, but how do we get rid of the small groups of bubbles that have set at the surface to give it that smooth glass look ? First time with this need help please.

I am not aware of a fix other than redo. Do you have enough resin above the rocks to mechanically remove the resin bubbles.

The bubbles are caused by outgassing, if the temperature is too low, not all of the bubbles can escape.

heat gun when you first pour it. That should allow the bubbles to come to the top. Not too hot for too long or you'll trigger the exothermic reaction.
