Knife making / sharpening, grafting...getting it razor sharp!

Been using for years the Olfa box knife, the largest sturdy knife with rubber pads. ...hard to improve on these.

Well...I've made some anyway, [no wiggle on the blade]..getting a razor sharp edge
is a must have...or at least it makes grafting so much more enjoyable. I
built a belt grinder, 2"x 48" long belt...no problem getting silicone
carbide belts but getting a leather belt for stropping/polishing seems a
bit harder to get. Where do you get yours? Amazon I found one but doesn't ship up here.

For now...made MDF [wood] wheel for polishing...not bad, can get a razor edge with some effort.. leather should work better.

Been putting a polished razor edge on the bypass pruner with much enjoyment when the edge stands up so much longer.
