I'm moving AGAIN! My new apartment is much larger and will have rent control. I hope to stay there for a long time.

I'm terrible with arranging furniture and can really use your help with the layout for the living room and home office. (Feel free to go crazy with the rest, but that's where I really need help.) I don't use or need a dining table, so I'm thinking that space might make for a home office--even though it's right next to the kitchen and that could be awkward.

I'm planning to upgrade to a midcentury-inspired blue-green L-shaped sectional and either a camel or dark brown modern leather recliner to pair. (See photos for inspiration.) I also plan to finally get a massive flat screen TV. I want this place to be extremely comfy for movie watching with friends.

Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Couch inspiration. What would you call this color? Blue-green? Teal?

Recliner inspiration. I really like this style except for the color of the legs. I'd prefer a light or natural finish.
