Wow there are 2 of us and my DW runs every day, so maybe you don’t need an extra one , I wish I had put another one in my kitchen but we entertain a lot. I would not have got a Miele DW but that is a personal choice. I think the decision has to be made for how you live , this sounds like a very large kitchen and I would be more concerned about how the space functions with and without the extras . I often find that really large kitchens function very poorly for every day life.

I would have more fridge space - even if it was a 2nd one in a walk-in pantry.

Thanks all. We probably will be running our DW daily with the Miele as it is slightly smaller than our current one. But yes, no overflow space for refrigerated items is what concerns me- no pantry, no garage.

More fridge space for sure.
