Hi all,

I am having trouble deciding on an appropriate sofa/sectional for my living rooms. The living room layout +pics are below. My question are:

1. I should get a sectional or two separate sofas (i.e. sofa with chaise and another normal sofa).

2. If I do get a sectional, if I should have the it along the wall near the entrance and loop in and L facing towards the kitchen or away from it (away being with its back towards the kitchen and facing the bay windows).

If I get a sectional, I think it will be more comfortable, but I will lose the space from the bay windows, since it would have to start all the way in front of the by window, or fit entirely inside the bay window and lose the 3.3' from the end of the bay window to the left wall. If I get a sofa, it will be less modern/inviting/comfy but allow more light and work nicer with the bay windows (I think).

If I put the sectional sofa back facing towards the kitchen, I will be breaking up the space/open floor plan, but I won't lose the space near the bay windows.There is also a fireplace protrusion (pic below) that is 2'7'' from the window across from the entrance (right of bay windows if looking into room/back to windows).

Finally, that back wall is almost 14 feet from the fireplace. That is pretty far. The fireplace isn't too high, so a TV could sit at almost eye level, but I'd need almost a 75 inch tv for that distance.

Also considering a sofa with left chaise against 11.5' wall, and then another sofa in front of bay windows

Any advice of similar living rooms would be appreciated as well !
