New tree information (a nectaplum)

I recently purchased a NECTAPLUM...isn't that just so fun to say...lol. Well besides the fact that I am very new to the wonderful world of fruit and citrus growing, I know nothing about this beautiful tree. Any advice or information about it would be great. I bought it because it was beautiful and the description of the fruit sounded amazing.

Not a citrus at all but a stone fruit. You would grow it the same way you would a plum, a peach or a nectarine. Just an fyi but sometimes these hybrid fruits are reluctant growers and producers, depending on location. If you can successfully grow nectarines in your climate - needs a good, hot summer - then you should be able to grow a nectaplum.
