Their quality doesn't seem to be that great..I've seen tables from them and they need to be covered because they stain. I wanted a mirror from them and I had to return it because the finish was very sloppy

I always cover my tables so most of the negative comments I've read have been about unfinished wood. The Spanish monastery table is sealed and waxed but I would still always cover it when dining. I'm more interested in if it will stand up over time.

We have a lot of RH from ceiling lighting (works well, looks good) to bedding then we have vanities and linen towers that are RH. The wood items need a lot of care. I'm just thankful we got them on sale and at the time were, "members" so saved add'l 20% otherwise I'd be sick that I have to take such care with them to keep them from getting ruined from water and so on. If I lived alone it probably would not be as much of an issue yet I don't so think twice. Lovely items to look at, yet quality is lacking in the furniture dept. especially furniture that you use a lot vs. say a bookcase or similar.

Thank you. Based on your comment I think I will go for it. I don't have young children at home anymore, and the table would only be used on special occasions so I think I'll chance it. I too got it on sale so that definitely helps. To get the same antique look would cost me over 7000!

Yes, I often do this with RH or Arhaus which is similar in my area. I bought a lovely giant round table all wood and it seats 6 very comfortably (could seat more) and the large round base at the floor has a 6" crack some years later (Arhaus) and I'm sick over it yet my husband can make it so it is not going to get any larger. I love the stuff so I succumb! I say go for it if you are up to just watching over it a bit. Vanities that are like furniture with all the water take a beating and a soapstone top is soft yet durable in other ways. It's been a pain as my other half is not careful with toothpaste, his shaving brush..... yet, I love them and they look pretty so? I say go for it and good luck I'm sure it will be stunning!! Would love to see a photo, but I can look it up!

I bought a sectional from RH. They charged my card 50% when I ordered, and 100% on delivery. 150% total. So a couple of thousand dollars extra.

It took six months and letters to my bank and eventually the fed and the consumer financial protection bureau to get it fixed.

I would never, ever order anything from them again. Something I could carry out at point of purchase, maybe. But not an order with a lead time.

That said, I don't think the quality of the sectional seems that bad. But apparently they have a terrible reputation, especially for upholstered furniture.

I had my bath vanities delivered and one had the legs totally broken off. I had the men take the items off the truck (hind sight 20/20) unwrap them and what a mess. I had them take them back after I took photos in my driveway contacted them got the contact info for the person I spoke to sent the photos and they were very good about it. I have become overboard on things and calls and whom I speak to with RH or most large expenses and I quit ordering on line so I had a voice and a name and an extension to whom it was ...... sad, but true. In the end the items returned with the legs not on were put on after put upstairs by the delivery ppl and it was all good. Yet, I hear you Jane!
