Need idea for this room in house I just bought

This picture makes the room look large, but the 'credenza' wall is only 5 feet long and the wall is just over 41 inches on the other side. I think the room is about 5 feet wide as well. My plan was to use my 'Scandinavian' pieces, a large, rustic

china hutch one one side and my Swedish bench on the other side and a white tole chandelier overhead. But both my bench and hutch are too large to fit against either wall. I want something pale, 'provencal' or Scandinavian in this room, which is the entry just inside the back door. Any ideas?

You may first want to decide on your style choice in regards to Provincial or Scandinavian, as they are very different (see below). Do you need storage or seating or does it only need to be decorative? Once you decide on your style, select the appropriate chandelier, piece of furniture or bench, a large mirror and maybe some plants. I would skip a rug in order to keep the space feeling large and also will be easier to clean. Would you consider it for an office and place a small desk on the wall vs in middle of room per pic below?
