Dining room table real wood or not?

Ok there's no stupid questions and I really don't know lol. How can I test my dining room table to see if it can be refinished or not? They charge is $125.00 for a home visit. If it's not real wood the money is lost. I'm sure there is a way to test it right? The third photo is a pic of under the table and it appears to be veneer.
