We are building a new house, and I am trying to pick out paint colors. When you walk in the entrance way is going to be lamplight yellow (a warm yellow), the library to the left will be spanish olive ( a medium green with some yellow undertones) and I want the dining room to the left to be grey with a darker grey ceiling. The problem is that the dining room is completely open to the hall except for columns and arches. So I need to do the room in grey with brown undertones and not blue. I have found some that I like but the darker versions that will go on the ceiling always look like mud. Only the inside of the trey will be painted and the rest will be white. This is my last paint dilemma. Any ideas or suggestions.
