I just started a gardening service and came home today after their first job and found my hebes trimmed into a nice shape. Will it still bloom this year? Before they trimmed them I had not noticed any sign of flower formation.

do you think they will still flower? I had always pruned after flowering. I sure willl miss those pretty purple blooms this year if it's too late but I guess it'll be a lesson learned.

They also got a couple of my variegated shell ginger stalks that probably would have bloomed this year and they are my very favorite.
