Need help with a color for my sofa

I am about to have my wonderful comfy old sofa reupholstered. It has been a chocolate brown for many years. I want to stay with a solid color but need help figuring out if I can go with a different color. We live on a farm and have dogs who love the sofa so it has to hide dirt. Thanks for any suggestions!
