Triming out kitchen window

I have dilemma or what I think is a dilemma. Were getting closer to installing are new IKEA white Ramsjo cabinets. I have a small kitchen window 30'' W x 35'' H Their will be cabinets on each side of the window.

I have fairly generic casing around the bay window that I would like to to keep. See attached pictures I also included a close up of the detail of the existing trim

I am questioning if I could have two different trims styles in the room. The existing bay window trim would remain and also be the casing for the two door openings.

The kitchen window we would use trim seen in the attached picture.

As they are in effect in two different areas I don't think it will matter ! Love the Ramsjo in white ! Fab choice !!!

What are the rest if the windows in the house trimed out in ? Do all the doors in the house have the same trim ?

The trim profile around the bay windows is the trim used throughout the house. Questioning if I could use the more custom trim detail around the smaller double hung window

Yes you could. The window is unique as far as its in a bay so it could some more custom trim .

I agree with 3I, keep the trim consistent throughout the kitchen. Cabinets or super special windows (like a ginormus picture window) can carry different trim. The bay window won't take the architrave trim pictured, not enough room at the head...so keep the other window matching the doors and bay window.

You know, I have three different entrance/door trims in my kitchen as well, but they make sense to me. The wide entrance into the dining room, is the most significant. The trim going into the study, is standard, and the trim going into the garage is thin flat and simple. Although different and in the same room, I think the dining room entrance should have the nicest trim, and the garage entrance, have the least.

That being said, you need to consider the room as a whole. Visually, it works in my place, because the main focal point it the connection to the back patio/yard.
