Pendant size over kitchen island

Hi! Is there a formula for pendant size over an island? Our island is 2.3m x 1.1m and I am thinking of these pendants which are 44cm diameter and I only want 2. Is that ok? Thanks!!

We do have guidelines for pendant sizing over islands! The guidelines are written in inches instead of centimeters, however, so keep that in mind and convert as necessary. We recommend measuring the width of your island and then subtracting 12 inches from that measurement. That number is a good maximum width/diameter for a light to go over the island. Plus, we recommend spacing pendants about 2 feet apart over the island, too.

We are renovating our home in the " Happiest Seaside Town in America", Southport, N.C.,, We have had load bearing walls removed and put windows in to maximize our view! Every twist and turn has made decisions difficult! Thank you for your advice! Don't know if I will heed all of it! . Lol! My mantra has always been " No Guts, No Glory"!
