Using TV mounting hardware to install an adjustable bathroom mirror

Has anyone used TV mounting hardware to install a lighted bathroom mirror? The horizontal LED mirror is 36" W X 30" H and weighs too much to install with mirror pivots. We want the mirror to be adjustable to tilt forward for a wheelchair user.

I haven't, but as long as what ever the material is that the tv mount is made of can stand up to some moisture, it sounds like a great idea.

Though, is someone going to tilt it for the person in the wheelchair? Will they be able to reach it to tilt it?

We discussed with builder and he likes the solution too. The mirror will stand out from the wall about 4 inches and because of the counter depth of the vanity, the wheelchair user can easily adjust the mirror and also touch the dim button on the surface of the mirror. We decided to hang the mirror vertically because it looks better over the vanity next to an end column of cabinets. This probably makes constant adjustment less necessary for seated vs standing but still, a thoughtful feature for a handi-capable master bathroom.
