I would use a light cream or warm white color. Realize that your samples will look different next to your gold wall than they will on their own. Try the samples on the middle of a white poster board to narrow your options.

Horizon gray is a great suggestion. Or a sage green.

@Judy - I never realized there would be a difference in gray green vs green gray hmmm. But now that I think about it, it makes sense. Lol - Learn something new every day. :)

cathy…I know it sounds weird, but it does make a difference..a gray with a green undertone is so different from a green with a gray undertone. You want the wall color to balance both the sofa and the rug. Hope it works,,,monitors are fickle, so it that isn’t quite it, get gray green chips and match one to that color in the rug.
