This labor of love was built in 1899 and my hubby's boyhood home. His parents owned it for 50 years and were the 3rd owner. It was originally a pink stucco house and over the years previous homeowners added garden state brickface. It was stripped any architectural interest on the interior except the lighting which was all restored and put back into a much more modern interior floor plan. For the exterior, we kept the limestone stucco exterior used Sto Indiana Limestone and added cast stone around the windows and simple wrought iron detailing. The entire footprint of the home is the same as when built in 1899 and every part of the exterior was renovated to code from the foundation up and all products used were made in the USA. Marvin Windows and the front Mahogany door made by Chautauqua Woods in Dunkirk NY home to craftsman that used to work in High Point and have now settled up in that region.
