I know this is an old thread but BUMP! Looking at the same options and curious for opinions

We don't install it as much as we do Trex, but the Deckorators decks we've installed have all been fine. No problems after 3 years on the first one we used Vault deck boards on, it still looks new. We haven't had to contact Deckorators about any deck warranty issues so we can't speak to that, but haven't had any problems with them on warranty claims about their deck railing. We seem to be selling more of it at thedeckstore.com so more people are hearing about it. That said, we still prefer Trex though.

The Deck Store, why do you prefer Trex? Easy installation? Is the cost the same? Is Trex more reliable?
